Hotjar & Mouseflow
We use Hotjar and Mouseflow to help us understand how visitors use our website — including which pages they visit, which links they click, and how they navigate our configurator. These tools collect data such as anonymized IP addresses, device screen size, browser type, and geographic location (country only). All third parties who handle your data on our behalf are required to maintain appropriate security standards and are prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond what we have authorized.
International Data Transfers
Elite HTS is headquartered in Canada. If you are located outside Canada, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in Canada. Canada is recognized as having adequate privacy protections for most international data transfer purposes.
We also work with service providers and platforms based in the United States and other countries. When your information is transferred to these jurisdictions, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — including contractual protections — to maintain a standard of privacy protection consistent with Canadian law.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and in accordance with applicable legal requirements. In general:
- Customer Records — Retained for the duration of our relationship with you and for a reasonable period thereafter, in case of warranty claims or legal proceedings.
- Transaction & Order Data — Retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to meet accounting and tax obligations.
- Marketing Data — Retained until you opt out or withdraw consent, after which your information is suppressed from future communications.
- Website Analytics — Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely. Identifiable session data is typically retained for no longer than 13 months.
When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices.

We will respond to all requests within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this by an additional 30 days, and will notify you if this is necessary.
Marketing Preferences
With your consent, we may contact you by email, SMS, phone, post, or digital channels (including Facebook and Google) to share product updates, promotions, and content we think you'll find relevant.
- Email & SMS — Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or reply STOP to any SMS to opt out immediately.
- Phone — If you receive a marketing call, ask the representative to add you to our do-not-call list.
- Written Request — Write to Elite HTS at Unit 406, 17665 66A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3S 2A7, marked for the attention of the DPO, or use the subject line "I want to opt out of marketing messaging" when emailing via our Contact Us page.
Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications related to your order, warranty, or account.
