Elite HTS is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the privacy laws of British Columbia.

Who We Are

Elite HTS is the data controller of your personal information. We are headquartered in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, with a U.S. showroom at the Las Vegas Design Center.

We have designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing our privacy practices. You can contact our DPO at any time using the details in Section 12 of this Policy.

What We Collect

We collect personal information that is relevant to our products, services, and the relationship we have with you. Depending on how you interact with Elite HTS, this may include:

  • Purchase & Order Details — Products ordered, configuration choices, payment methods used, order history, and warranty records.
  • Communications — Records of phone calls, emails, social media messages, and other correspondence with our team.
  • Trade Program Information — Business name, professional credentials, and trade pricing agreements for interior designers, AV integrators, and dealers.
  • Website Usage Data — Pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, and browsing behaviour collected via cookies and analytics tools (see Section 05).
  • Marketing Preferences — Records of marketing consents, opt-outs, and communication preferences.
  • Third-Party Data — Where relevant, demographic or contact information obtained from approved third-party sources to help us improve our products and services.

We collect this information directly from you, through your use of our website and configurator tools, or through partners such as authorized dealers and interior designers who refer you to us. We will always make it clear when providing personal information is optional.

Hotjar & Mouseflow

These tools collect data such as anonymized IP addresses, device screen size, browser type, and geographic location (country only). Managing Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit elitehts.com, you will be asked to consent to non-essential cookies. You can update your preferences at any time through our cookie settings tool or by adjusting your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website and configurator.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following circumstances, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Service Providers — Companies that support our operations, including delivery and logistics partners, payment processors, IT and hosting providers, and customer service platforms.
  • Trade & Design Partners — Authorized dealers, interior designers, or AV integrators involved in a project where you have engaged their services alongside Elite HTS.
  • Marketing Platforms — Digital advertising and analytics platforms (such as Google and Meta) used to deliver relevant communications to opted-in customers.
  • Market Research — Third-party research firms that help us develop and improve our products and services, under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal & Regulatory Bodies — When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
  • Business Transfers — In the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of all or part of our business, personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

All third parties who handle your data on our behalf are required to maintain appropriate security standards and are prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond what we have authorized.

International Data Transfers

Elite HTS is headquartered in Canada. If you are located outside Canada, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in Canada. Canada is recognized as having adequate privacy protections for most international data transfer purposes.

We also work with service providers and platforms based in the United States and other countries. When your information is transferred to these jurisdictions, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — including contractual protections — to maintain a standard of privacy protection consistent with Canadian law.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and in accordance with applicable legal requirements. In general:

  • Customer Records — Retained for the duration of our relationship with you and for a reasonable period thereafter, in case of warranty claims or legal proceedings.
  • Transaction & Order Data — Retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to meet accounting and tax obligations.
  • Marketing Data — Retained until you opt out or withdraw consent, after which your information is suppressed from future communications.
  • Website Analytics — Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely. Identifiable session data is typically retained for no longer than 13 months.

When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, please contact our DPO using the details in Section 12.

  • Right to Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and information about how we process it.
  • Right to Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent — Where processing is based on your consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Right to Object — Object to processing for direct marketing purposes or processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Right to Erasure — Request deletion of your personal information where we no longer have a lawful basis to retain it.
  • Right to Restriction — Request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Data Portability — Request that your data be provided in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Right to Complain — Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca.

We will respond to all requests within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this by an additional 30 days, and will notify you if this is necessary.

Marketing Preferences

With your consent, we may contact you by email, SMS, phone, post, or digital channels (including Facebook and Google) to share product updates, promotions, and content we think you'll find relevant.

  • Email & SMS — Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or reply STOP to any SMS to opt out immediately.
  • Phone — If you receive a marketing call, ask the representative to add you to our do-not-call list.
  • Written Request — Write to Elite HTS at Unit 406, 17665 66A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3S 2A7, marked for the attention of the DPO, or use the subject line "I want to opt out of marketing messaging" when emailing via our Contact Us page.

Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications related to your order, warranty, or account.
